Traditional Cultural Properties Discussion from CRC’s LiveStream Series

In this episode of the Connecticut River Conservancy’s LiveStream series - which is examining the relicensure process of five hydroelectric installations currently underway - the discussion centers on Traditional Cultural Properties (TCPs), an aspect of the NHPA’s Section 106. This is the real deal - the relationship of People and Place - the heart of the concept of Indigeneity. It deserves a complete, respectful, meaningful accounting - this has yet to be done.
